Q1. What is an Assessment?

An Assessment is a set of tests intended for one job role. For example, if you are looking to hire a developer, your assessment may have 2 tests: (i) Quiz and (ii) Programming Challenge. If you are hiring a Customer Support Specialist, your assessment may have 3 tests: (i) 1 Quiz; (ii) 1 Typing Test; (iii) 1 Communication Test.

You may add as many tests as you want to an assessment. We charge you 1 credit per test. So, the above two assessments will cost you 2 credits and 3 credits respectively. Most recruiters create assessments with 1 test, which is why we say the price is 1 credit per candidate.

Q2. How many tests do I need for my assessment?
This obviously depends on your requirements. Many recruiters add a single Quiz which can have up to 25 questions across 6 skills. Or you can create a comprehensive assessment with a Quiz, a Coding Test, a Psychometric Test, and a Video Test.

Q3. When is a credit deducted from my account?

A credit is deducted each time an assessment email invitation is sent to a candidate. If a candidate drops out of an assessment before finishing the first test, the credit can be reclaimed. If an assessment has more than 1 test, a credit is deducted when the candidate finishes each test after the first one.

For example, say you create an assessment with 2 tests. You then invite 10 candidates to the assessment. 10 credits are deducted immediately. 2 candidates drop out midway through Test 1, 3 candidates finish Test 1 and drop out during Test 2. 5 candidates finish both tests. You can then reclaim 2 credits. You will be charged 3 credits for the 3 candidates who finished only Test 1, and 10 credits for the 5 candidates who finished both tests. So, you will be charged a total of 13 credits.

Q4. Do my credits expire?

No, they do not expire. You can use them until whenever you want.

Q5. Is there a limit to the number of assessments I can create?

No, you can create as many assessments as you want.

Q6. How is Equip so much more affordable than other platforms?
Good question! Broadly speaking, we think we can make more money by keeping the cost per candidate low and thus increasing the number of candidates. Q7. Is there a lock-in period?

No, we don't have a subscription or a lock-in period. We understand that hiring may be seasonal, so you can pay-as-you-go.

Q8. Can I try Equip for free?

Q9. Do you offer any discounts?
If you are purchasing 2000 or more credits at once, we offer a 15% discount. Chat with us to avail of this offer. If you are purchasing fewer than 2000 credits, there are unfortunately no discounts available (no exceptions!). Unless it is a first-purchase discount.
Q10. What is a Recruiter Account?

A Recruiter Account can create and share Assessments, and see their results. Basically, any user who wants to play the role of a recruiter needs to be added to your team. You can add as many recruiters as you want, for free

We support both credit and debit cards for payments. For amounts exceeding $1500, we accept bank and wire transfers.
