Q1. What is an Assessment?

An Assessment is a set of tests intended for one job role. For example, if you are looking to hire a developer, you may assign one aptitude test, one coding challenge and one alignment quiz. These three tests together count as one assessment. The candidate will attempt the tests one-by-one.

Q2. What is a Credit?

One Credit equals one Candidate attempting an Assessment.

Say you are hiring for a role and create an Assessment. You share the assessment link with 20 candidates and 15 of them attempt it. You will have used up 15 Credits.

Q3. When is a credit deducted from my account?

A credit is deducted every time a candidate finishes the first test of an assessment. So, if a candidate drops out of an assessment before finishing the first test, the credit won't get deducted.

For example, you create an assessment with two tests and invite 10 candidates to take the assessment. 2 candidates drop out midway through Test 1, 3 candidates finish Test 1 and drop out during Test 2. 5 candidates finish both tests. You will then be charged 8 credits.

Q4. What if I need more than the Credits I see listed above?

You can always top-up credits. Say your plan gives you 100 Credits per month, and you want 300 instead. You may purchase the extra 200 credits as and when you need them.

Q5. What happens to unused credits?

As long as your subscription is active, credits are brought forward to your next billing cycle. For example, say you are on the monthly Lite plan and you had 100 Credits in June. If your subscription continues to be active, your July credits will be 100 + 25 = 125.

Q6. What is the Free Trial?

With the Free Trial, you can access the Standard Plan for 14 days for free. You will also get 25 Credits for free. You don't need to enter your credit card details for this.

Q7. What is an Administrator Account?

An Administrator can create and share Assessments, and see their results. Basically, any user who wants to play the role of a recruiter needs an Administrator Account.

Q8. What are the different test types on Equip?

You can create Quizzes (Aptitude Test, Language Test, Attention to Detail), Programming Challenges (Coding, CSS, SQL), Spreadsheet Skills Test, and Video Interview.

Q9. How much will it cost me?

Roughly speaking, you pay $1 per candidate, excluding discounts. Our gives you an exact estimate based on how many candidates you assess, and how often.

Q10. Will I be charged per test or based on the type of tests in my assessments?

You are only charged per assessment. You may have any number of tests in an assessment, with any test types. You may include your own Custom Content as well. You will still pay per assessment.

Q11. Is there a lock-in period for subscription?

No, you can cancel your subscription anytime directly from the dashboard. Our plans don't need you to sign up for an annual contract or lock-in period. We understand that hiring may be seasonal, so you can pay-as-you-go.

Q12. What happens if my subscription becomes inactive?

You will lose access to creating assessments, viewing results and inviting candidates until you renew your subscription. Candidates won’t be able to attempt your assessments either.

Q13. What payment methods do you accept?

Since subscriptions are auto-renewed, cards that support recurring payments are needed. For amounts exceeding $5000, we accept bank and wire transfers.
