Yes. New teams get a 30-day free trial and 10 free credits at sign-up. No card needed. Subscribe to a plan before the trial ends to keep using Equip, and any credits you have left carry over.

A business can charge a few customers a lot, or many customers a little. We are firmly the second kind, which is why the ATS is included on every plan and the paid parts are priced per candidate.

Each recruiter account on your team is one seat. Standard includes 2, Premium 5, and Elite has no limits.

Yes. On Standard and Premium you can buy extra seats at $5 per seat a month, or twelve times that on an annual plan. A seat bought mid-cycle is charged only for the time left in the cycle, and then renews with your plan. You can remove a seat at any time, and it stops being billed from your next renewal. A seat you remove cannot be filled again before then, and if someone is using it you choose who leaves the team. A team can hold up to 200 extra seats.

Standard if one or two people hire and you need assessments, AI interviews and custom tests. Premium if you want to import CVs in bulk or need automated rules and actions. Elite for unlimited seats, ATS Insights, candidate rediscovery, automated offer letter rollout, Custom Pages and a dedicated account manager.

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. You pay only the prorated difference, and we grant the prorated credits alongside it.

Yes, from the start of your next cycle. If your team is above the new plan's seat cap, we will ask which members to remove before it takes effect. Extra seats you have bought move with you to the new plan.

A credit is Equip's internal currency, and 1 credit is $1. Your plan adds credits to the account every cycle, and they are deducted as candidates take assessments and AI interviews.

Standard adds 30 a month, Premium 90, Elite 250. Annual plans add the whole year's credits up front.

They don't expire as long as your subscription is active. For example, say you subscribe for Standard Monthly on March 1st and have 10 credits left on March 31st. If your subscription successfully renews on April 1st, your new credit balance will be 10 + 30 = 40. If you cancel instead, the credit balance becomes 0 at the end of March.

Buy more at any time while your subscription is active. 1 credit = $1, and buying 500 or more at once gets a bulk discount of up to 15%. You do not have to change plans to buy more.

We charge the card on file at the start of each period and add that period's credits to your balance.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period rather than immediately. At that point the credit balance is set to zero, so spend what you have before the period ends.

Yes. Job posts, your careers page, CV parsing, AI resume screening and pipeline management cost no credits on any plan.

Candidates upload their CVs, Equip AI parses and extracts the details, then ranks every applicant against the criteria you set for the role.

No. Screening is free however many people apply. Credits are spent only when a candidate takes an assessment or an AI interview.

You can set up automations like: email me every time someone applies; when an assessment is completed, make an API request to this URL; change the assignee when they complete this step. Premium and above.

It resurfaces applicants from past openings who fit a new role, so you shortlist from people who already applied to you. Elite only.

You pay $1, one credit, per candidate per test. For example, a candidate attempting only 1 Quiz or 1 Programming test costs $1. A candidate attempting 1 Quiz and 1 Programming test costs $2.

An assessment is the set of tests you send out for one role. It can contain one or more tests. Each test inside it costs one credit per candidate.

You set the questions and the answer format. The candidate records video, audio or text in their own time, and Equip AI grades it against the prompts you wrote. $1, one credit, per candidate.

You set general topics or themes, and the Equip AI bot holds a real back-and-forth with the candidate, the way an interviewer would. $2 to $3 per candidate.
